A Mother Among Royalty…

Recently while visiting an elderly friend who happens to be originally from Britain, my daughter, Hope (age 14) noticed that my friend had my picture up on her refrigerator next to a picture of Princess Diana.  After we left Hope said to me, "Mom, Mrs. Nisita must really think a lot of you.  She has your picture up right next to Queen Victoria."  After enjoying a good laugh and acknowledging the compliment, I explained to her who Princess Diana was.  I guess we’ll have to spend some more time reading about modern British history!!!
