You Know You Have a Two-Year Old in the House When…
- You come home from Christmas shopping, only to find your husband on his hands and knees looking for the pieces of your favorite rosary beads that your two-year old broke in his enthusiasm (Wonderful man that he is, he found every bead and washer and put them back together good as new!!!).
- One of your other children runs up to you and say “Tag, your it!” in order to pass on the duty of keeping your two-year old’s hands out of trouble.
- You have the phone number for Poison Control on a post-it note on the side of your frig (last time I had to call up to find out if the spackle he licked off the wall was poisonous - it’s not!!!).
- You find him eating dog food and refilling his cup from the dog’s water.
- You find yourself sitting on the couch for longer than you think is proper so that you can snuggle with him just a little longer.
- You find yourself praying for more little blessings just like him, inspite of the chaos!!!
