I was tagged by Mary Ellen (I can’t tell you how excited how I was to be tagged. It’s my first time. LOL).

1. Favorite devotion or prayer to Jesus? The Jesus Prayer, in one form or other, usually “Dear Lord Jesus have mercy on me”

2. Favorite Marian devotion or prayer? the Rosary

3. Do you wear a scapular or medal? I wear the brown scapular every day.

4. Do you have holy water in your home? No. But I’m interested. I’m not quite sure where to get it either. Anyone?

5. Do you ‘offer up’ your sufferings? Yes. I’m new to this concept but of late I have been doing it.

6. Do you observe First Fridays and First Saturdays? Yes.

7. Do you go to Eucharistic Adoration? Yes. It’s my favorite day of the month!

8. Are you a Saturday evening Mass person or Sunday morning Mass person? I much prefer Sunday morning.

9. Do you say prayers at mealtime? Yes.

10. Favorite Saint(s)? the Blessed Mother, St. Francis of Assisi, Padre Pio, and hopefully soon to be saints: Blessed Pope John Paul II and Blessed Mother Teresa.

11. Can you recite the Apostles Creed by heart? Yes.

12. Do you usually say short prayers (aspirations) during the course of the day? I see life as a continual prayer, a constant conversation with God. He is my rock. I’m not sure how people without Jesus remain sane or joyful.

13. Where is your favorite place to pray? In front of the family altar.

14. Bonus Question: When you pass by a automobile accident or other serious mishap, do you say a quick prayer for the folks involved? Yes – always.

Helen’s bonus question: If you could visit any of Our Lady’s apparition sites, which one would you choose? Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico – Tepeyac.

I’m tagging Julie and Suzanne.
