Our New Liturgical Calendar

Img_1385a I loved my liturgical calendar made from a large 2007 calendar but I decided that I wanted something that would be reusable. Katherine of A Living Education and I brainstormed some ideas. Her version is detailed in this post. This is my version. I pasted pictures of the saints from CatholicCulture.org onto shortened index cards and then wrote the name of the saint or feast day celebration on the top of the card. I only wrote the date if it is a immovable date. On the back of the cards, I pasted prayers or quotes related to the day which I also found on CatholicCulture.org. The green and purple construction squares represent the color of the liturgical season – green for Ordinary Time and Purple for Lent. I am very pleased with this version and thankful to Katherine for her help in planning it!!! Img_13841

P.S. I bought the Monthly Calendar Pocket Chart at ChristianBook.com
