I loved my liturgical calendar made from a large 2007 calendar but I decided that I wanted something that would be reusable. Katherine of A Living Education and I brainstormed some ideas. Her version is detailed in this post. This is my version. I pasted pictures of the saints from CatholicCulture.org onto shortened index cards and then wrote the name of the saint or feast day celebration on the top of the card. I only wrote the date if it is a immovable date. On the back of the cards, I pasted prayers or quotes related to the day which I also found on CatholicCulture.org. The green and purple construction squares represent the color of the liturgical season - green for Ordinary Time and Purple for Lent. I am very pleased with this version and thankful to Katherine for her help in planning it!!!
P.S. I bought the Monthly Calendar Pocket Chart at ChristianBook.com

Your calendar looks great! I hope you enjoy it. I like the size of your printed pictures. I think I’ll have to do that next time. Ours are starting to bend forward and it’s a mess.

Heather it looks great. I had done the same thing several months ago and used heavier cardstock to print my pictures. I never thought about index cards. What a great idea! I just might have to borrow it for March….

This is spooky - I just did the same thing. Mine is not as elaborate but I saw Katherine’s and I copied a bit. What we did the same was the Catholic Culture pictures.
Great minds think alike.
