My name is Heather and I have been the help meet to my wonderful husband, Len, for 20 years. Our children are Hope (17), Lenny (14), Lily (9), Wren (Born to heaven, 10/02), Mary (Born to heaven, 9/03), Lucy (Born to heaven, Early '04), and Peter (5). Five doggies round out our happy brood.    |
Last night as I climbed into bed, I decided not to set my alarm for 6:30 a.m. as usual. That morning I had gotten up at 4:45 a.m. to take a friend to an early morning eye surgery and we’d had a busy day, so I was determined to sleep in a few extra [...] [...] [...] That is the title my husband jokingly suggested for this blog entry. I think I would have named it, “Pray For My Sanity”. Well we went to the cemetery this morning and someone is actually buried in our plot (If you have no idea what I am talking about see my post called [...] Yesterday on the way to the hospital to visit our new nephew, Aidan, my husband and I decided to stop at the cemetery to visit our daughter Mary’s grave. My in-laws had put an angel statue on it recently and I wanted to check it out. While we were standing at her grave, [...] [...] I was sitting at the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament recently and I was thinking about how I could minister to others (other than my family) and still take care of the multitude of needs of my husband and children.
