What Ill Behaved Brats They Have!!! Send Out the Hounds!!!

Upon returning from my weekly shopping trip to Costco, I was greeted at the car by my oldest daughter, Hope — also known as “babysitter extraordinaire”!!! She was stressed to say the least.  Peter had gotten into the jelly and had decorated some of Lenny’s school books which had mysteriously escaped from their appointed place.  Once inside, Hope plopped herself on my lap and declared her discouragement.   In an attempt to lighten the mood, I smiled at her and I told her not to let those brats (her brothers and sister) get her down.  She looked at me with a grin and said, “Well that’s even more depressing.  If they were somebody else’s children, we could say, “WHAT ILL BEHAVED BRATS THEY HAVE BUT INSTEAD WE MUST HIDE OUR HEADS IN SHAME!!!”"  My Hope just cracks me up sometimes — What would life be without humor!!!

Well next it was my turn to have some fun!!! When we went into the kitchen I looked around at all the clutter that needed our attention.  So I turned to Hope and said, “This place is a mess.  Where are the slaves to clean this up.  Oh no, the slaves have escaped!!!”  Hope had the last laugh when she pointed to one of our five dogs and said, “SEND OUT THE HOUNDS!!!”  She really does crack me up and I am blessed to have her!!!
