That is the title my husband jokingly suggested for this blog entry. I think I would have named it, “Pray For My Sanity”. Well we went to the cemetery this morning and someone is actually buried in our plot (If you have no idea what I am talking about see my post called “Bizarre”). It was a clerical error and they were very apologetic. Of course I burst into tears. I am not sure why but IT IS important to us that we be buried next to our daughter.
Rather than put the other family who have so recently lost their loved one through the trauma of moving the body, we have opted to have Mary’s body moved. They are giving us two double plots (rather than the single next to a double that we now have) but they would like to us to be there to see them move the casket over to the new grave (After this screw-up, I think they want us to feel confident that her body actually ends up where it belongs). This is where those prayers I mentioned above come in. My sweet daughter died 4 years ago but all of this has certainly opened up some old wounds. I am not at all angry. Mistakes are made – it’s part of being human. I just feel sad. So I ask for your prayers for strength, courage, and peace.

I’m so sorry, sweetie. You are in my prayers.
Sending prayers your way….
Dear Heather,
Katherine sent me here because I, too, lost a baby (he died the day after he was born–full term). I can totally imagine what you are going through. I love the plot where our little Will was laid to rest, it is at the back of a large cemetery but his plot is close to a lovely little grotto and it is a beautiful place, one I visited often during those first few months. Prayers for you…
Heather,
The above comment was from me–dd, age 10, (Mary Grace) was signed in. I’m sorry! Prayers coming for you! I also wanted to let you know if you need a shoulder–feel free to email me anytime. God bless!
