Recently, I discovered this series of books on someone’s blog (can’t remember who???). We’ve only read the first one about Woodrow the mouse who runs for president. It does a great job of explaining about voting, campaigns, and elections. It presents the whole election process in a very enjoyable manner.
The other books in the series include:
Woodrow, the White House Mouse,
And Marshall,The Court House Mouse.
I know that today is Election Day and you may feel like putting these books off until next year. But with this year of campaigning for President, I don’t think you will feel off-topic if you read them to your children now. Enjoy!!!
