My name is Heather and I have been the help meet to my wonderful husband, Len, for 20 years. Our children are Hope (18), Lenny (14), Lily (9), Wren (Born to heaven, 10/02), Mary (Born to heaven, 9/03), Lucy (Born to heaven, Early '04), and Peter (5). Five doggies round out our happy brood.    |
Since some have asked, Peter is doing great with his potty training. We are making steady progress every day. It must be the “potty training outfits”!!! And my head potty trainer, Hope, deserves major kudos!!!
I decided to make Lily another one of those cute ruffled skirts. This one is more sedate as it’s for Thanksgiving and has three ruffled sections instead of two. I don’t think it is as striking as the other but I still like it!!! I think that for the next one I [...] One of the highlights of our road-trips is the books on tape/CD that we listen to to pass the time. For this past trip, I didn’t do much preparation. When I returned from an appointment this morning, two of my children had dressed up as “Potty trainers”. Funny, I didn’t know that there was a uniform for potty training??? They insisted that I take pictures for the them [...] Woodrow for President Recently, I discovered this series of books on someone’s blog (can’t remember who???). We’ve only read the first one about Woodrow the mouse who runs for president. It does a great job of explaining about voting, campaigns, and elections. It presents the whole election process in a very enjoyable manner. The other books in [...] Well our final morning in Wisconsin was certainly eventful. It started at 7 a.m. This was the first morning that everyone adjusted to the time change and of course, it was the one morning I had to wake everyone up!!! LOL My three oldest children and I headed out the door to All Saints Day [...] Here are some pictures taken on the field next to their home: The second day of our journey went very smoothly. After a 10 hour trip from Long Island to Michigan, the 6 hour trip from Michigan to Wisconsin seemed like a breeze!!!
