Frugal Friday: My Trusty Friend for Preserving Your Clothes

My perhaps most important laundry secret for saving your clothing from the garbage can is Spray and Wash stain stick.  I leave a stain stick in my top dresser drawer.  Every night, I “evaluate” the shirt I wore that day to see if it needs to be “stain sticked”.  It usually does because I always seem to forget to wear an apron!!!  I have resurrected many shirts with my trusty stain stick.  My trusty stain stick is so good that it will usually get the stain out on the second washing if I forgot to “stain stick” it the first time!!!

  • I am the same with oxyspray. I keep a bottle on my dresser and spray before tossing stuff in the hamper. And I have one on the washer for those stains that I didn’t catch ahead of time. Gets everything out….even stuff that has been washed and DRIED already!

  • I have both S&W and Oxyclean spray. I keep one in my master bath, mostly because I tend to be a little sloppy when I eat. I swear I can’t go a day without spilling something on myself. It’s great to be able to spritz the stains right away. I keep the S&W down in the laundry room. Both products seem to work great, even on set-in stains!

  • Oooo!

Thanks for that tips Heather! Blessed Christmas to you!!
