Small Successes – Jan. 29, 2009 edition

I really am feeling a lack of success today, so I probably need to write this list more than ever.

My Small Successes for this past week:

1- I ground up a whole bunch of whole wheat this morning with my grain mill.  I have been a total slug with baking for my [...]

I Have Accepted the Challenge!!!

Crystal over at Biblical Womanhood has started a “Spring Cleaning for Normal People” challenge.  She’s taking it at a nice pace – a week to do each assignment.  Frankly that is a great pace for me right now.  We’ve got so much on our plate right now, but I am desperate to get [...]

This morning, while we were all working on our chores, my eight year old daughter, Lily, came to me with a request.

“Could you tell Lenny [her 13 year old brother] that there is no password to get into the upstairs bathroom?”

“And could you them him that if there was a password, it wouldn’t be “LILY’S [...]

A New Year

“None of us knows what awaits us in this new year, but God knows.  His will has already prepared our path; every detail of our life is already determined in His mind.  Let us be ready to accept, or rather embrace with courage and readiness, everything that God wishes or permits, certain that in His [...]
