‘Tis the Season of Coveting

Lately my four year old Peter has taken up a new hobby – catalog coveting.  With the Christmas season nearly upon us (at least for the retailers), he can be often found sitting in a chair “reading” a Lego or toy catalog uttering phrases akin to “Can you get me this for my birthday?”  or “Can I have this for Christmas?”  I may have to start throwing out those catalogs BEFORE Peter gets his hands on them because he doesn’t seem to understand the commandment: “Thou shall not covet”…

  • I think I need a refresher on that commandment, too! It’s just these stinkin’ J.Jill, Coldwater Creek and Pottery Barn catalogs that tempt me every day! Funny post.
    Have a great day.

He is growing up so fast! They all are! I’ve been babysitting once a week for Steve and Karen’s nephew, Brandon, who is 4 years old. You probably remember him from the wedding! I can really relate to having a 4 year old around now! They sure keep you busy!
