Well you’ll have to be a die-hard SciFi fan to appreciate this story. My husband loves “Doctor Who” and his favorite Doctor Who (there have been many over the last 40 years) is Tom Baker. Recently he borrowed “The Genesis of the Daleks” with Tom Baker from the library. It is from the 70s and rather harmless. Our children have enjoyed watching “The Doctor” battling one of his arch-enemies, the Daleks. They are robotic creatures that speak with very powerful mechanized voices. Well my three older children were discussing some detail of the plot while Hope(15) was changing Peter(2)’s diaper. We all burst out laughing when Peter started loudly chanting “Exterminate!!! Exterminate!!! Exterminate!!!” just like the Daleks, with exactly the right intonation. Not much gets by this kid!!! I’d better watch my step!!!
